The TFGA is an active advocacy organisation dedicated to the best interests of all farmers, and to making a difference in rural communities in Tasmania. We passionately believe in Tasmanian agriculture and seek like-minded individuals.
The role: We are looking for a multi-talented team player who will support TFGA as the eminent policy and advocacy body for Tasmanian agriculture. As our newest team member you will immediately step into a leadership role where you will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, human resource management (including payroll) and data management/analysis for TFGA, ensuring high level governance and compliance with all regulations and internal policies and procedures.
We are looking for someone with high attention to detail who can also demonstrate and embody TFGA’s core values.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
To be regarded for this exciting opportunity, you will have 5+ years’ experience working in a similar role for a small to medium sized organisation. You will have a business or commerce degree and CPA/CA qualification would be desirable, with experience across accounting, finance and other business-related fields you will have the adequate training and background that this role requires. As an analytical thinker, you will use your problem-solving skills to promptly solve issues as they arise.
