The Tasmanian Farmers and Graziers Association (TFGA) is the leading representative body for Tasmanian primary producers and has been for over seventy years. TFGA members are responsible for generating approximately 80% of the value created by the Tasmanian agricultural sector.

An opportunity to join the team: Reception & Administration Assistant

The TFGA has a rare and exciting opportunity to join the team in a key reception and administrative support role. You will be a key part of a supportive and committed team, highly collaborative and focused on delivering exceptional outcomes for Tasmanian farmers.

We are seeking a passionate professional who loves agriculture. You will be a natural communicator, able to build trust and rapport with a variety of stakeholders with ease, are empathetic and driven to succeed.

Day-to-day you will greet members and guests in person and by phone, resolve queries and process payments, maintain a high level of presentation across reception and meeting rooms, and undertake a variety of office coordination duties including maintaining office supplies, processing incoming and outgoing mail, and coordinate meeting room and pool vehicle bookings.

You will also have responsibility for the administration of the CEO and President’s calendars, assist with administration of the membership database, maintain petty cash and reconcile daily bank transactions. Your ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with a keen eye for details is key.
