Hazelbrae Hazelnuts Tasmania

Christie is a former teacher, growing up in Launceston before flying the coop to the Whitsundays to teach where she met her husband Mick – also a Tasmanian.  After buying their first farm in Bridgnorth, they moved home to start their family life with their new son Jack in 2010.  Three farms and 9 years later, Christie has developed Australia’s most awarded hazelnut products grown at Hazelbrae in Hagley. She is responsible for the products from the tree to the customer, and enjoys a diverse, flexible and creative enterprise from which to grow and develop the business into the future.
