There are so many fantastic resources for teachers to use in the classroom and many of them are free.

The first place to start is Primezone.

Primezone is the place to find countless food and fibre resources and is brought to you by the Primary Industries Education Foundation of Australia (PIEFA). PIEFA is a not-for-profit teaching resources foundation formed through a collaboration between the Australian Government, primary industries organisations and the education sector.

Primezone Academy is the new PIEFA teaching and learning interactive course website.

Here you will find interactive courses your students can enrol into for free.

Some of these courses have been developed from existing resources on Primezone, which others will be brand new. Courses will be developed across a wide range of food and fibre subjects over the next 6 months. There are also teacher professional learning courses which are being developed over the next few months. Sign up to receive updates.

Famer Time Farmer Time allows students to ask questions, take a virtual tour and experience what careers in food & fibre look like. Designed for students from K-12, Farmer Time provides a real-world context to your food and fibre curriculum.
