The Landcare Action Grants Program provides State-funded grant opportunities to co-invest with farmers, Landcare, and other community organisations on practical on-ground works for sustainable agriculture and Rivercare type activities. The scope of the program has now been expanded to include carbon farming initiatives, with the potential to link these activities with the Government's Carbon Farming Advice Rebate.
The Tasmanian Farmers and Graziers Association (TFGA) and Landcare Tasmania will deliver the Program on behalf of, and in partnership with, the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment (DPIPWE).

To date The Landcare Action Grants has provided over $730,000.00 in funding over three rounds which in turn has resulted in on ground projects to the value of over $1.7m across Tasmania.
