DPIPWE in collaboration with TFGA are hosting a free training seminar showcasing a basic introductory course to LISTmap.
LISTmap is a free, easy to use, online map application that allows people to view, create and share their own customised maps of Tasmania, with a choice of hundreds of different layers of information about land, water, natural resources and our environment. The interactive session will be tailored to farmers, growers and agricultural practitioners alike, with the course focussing on producing maps for on-farm applications.
At the conclusion of the course participants will be able to produce maps specific to their area of interest and be able to explore, view and load map overlays that can be useful for on-farm decision making.
Courses will be held in March in Launceston and/or Hobart (depending on final numbers). Details of date, location and time will be available in due course. To register your interest please contact DPIPWE by email here or telephone 03 6777 2220.
