The Willie Smith’s Huon Valley Mid-Winter Fest is happening this 16 & 17 July with its renowned recipe of fire, feasting, folklore and good vibes.
All the festivals much-loved traditions make a comeback including the Burning Man, Tassie's best folk-funk bands, the coveted costume competition, tales tall and true from Tassie’s best storytellers and of course the Wassail.
COVID-19 restrictions mean a smaller version this year, opening to a maximum of only 600 on Friday and 600 on Saturday.
Tickets are available through a ballot system here with successful balloters being notified on Tuesday 1 June and given the opportunity to purchase a maximum of 4 tickets for either 16 or 17 July (not both) Children under 5 are free.
