Lambs Alive Workshop

Location: 695 Logan Road, Evandale

Macquarie Franklin and Sheep Connect are partnering to deliver one of the very popular Lambs Alive workshops in the 2018 lambing season. There is a great opportunity for the sheep industry to improve both animal welfare and productivity by lifting the survival of lambs and ewes at lambing time.

Lambs Alive provides anyone involved in the sheep industry with an opportunity to better understand the causes of lamb deaths and how they can manage their flocks to improve their lamb and ewe survival. Attendees will learn how to do a post mortem on a lamb guided by Dr Bruce Jackson, and with the Lambs Alive tool to take away will be able to better understand the main causes of lamb deaths on their own properties, and what they can do to help prevent some of these deaths.

The cost is $75 per person, and afternoon tea is provided.Anyone is welcome to come along, but RSVP is essential as numbers are limited.
