Riparian Rehabilitation Workshop - Norwood

NRM will hold a series of workshops presented as part of the Agricultural Landscape Rehabilitation Scheme (ALRS).  To see the flyer for the workshops click here.

The workshops will be held as follows: 

Tuesday, 6 March - “Malahide” 80 Mathinna Road Fingal

Wednesday, 7 March - Norwood 78-88 Station Road West, Norwood (Please continue past cul-de-sac and across train lines to end of the road). 

Thursday, 8 March - 918 Claude Road, Claude Road (Please continue down drive and over bridge).

Friday, 9 March - 242 Robin Hill Road, Flowerdale 

The workshops will focus on the importance of riparian rehabilitation to improve resilience to future flood events and will be a great opportunity to discuss your current or future riparian rehabilitation projects with those in the field.

Key topics include multiple values of riparian vegetation, riverbank stock exclusion through riparian fencing, construction of hard and soft engineering options for riverbank stabilisation, and assistance in making ALRS claims.
