Landholder and community groups are invited to join in a two month campaign aimed at controlling the introduced weed Boneseed.
Boneseed (Chrysanthemoides monilifera) is a woody weed of national significance originating in South Africa and is common within the Tamar Valley. Boneseed can grow densely and crowd out native vegetation and affect biodiversity. It can also impact on public recreation.
This dedicated Boneseed removal day will be held on Thursday the 19th of September at various locations across the Tamar Valley.
