The Tasmanian Farmers and Graziers Association (TFGA) are holding a Young Farmers Gathering on the evening of Friday 13 August from 6.30pm upstairs at JJ's Bakery and Old Mill Cafe, 52 Wellington Street, Longford.
If you are 18 to 40 years of age and want to understand what the peak farming Association in Tasmania does, this is your chance. Members and non-members of the TFGA are welcome to come along.
TFGA CEO John McKew will provide an update on current TFGA activity benefiting Tasmanian farmers and an overview on the new TFGA Strategic Plan. A number of TFGA directors and staff will also be present so there will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions. As this is a family friendly venue, partners and children are also welcome and there will be finger food and drinks available. The evening is planned to last about two hours with formalities scheduled for 30 minutes or so.
