Working with industry stakeholders, in collaboration with Biosecurity Tasmania, you will be responsible for delivering on a four-year project to convey key biosecurity messages to Tasmanian farmers. You will engage a broad spectrum of the community in an empathetic and understanding way with a view to supporting culture change in relation to biosecurity practices within the State. You will work closely with a committed, highly skilled team at the TFGA who will help you develop and distribute related industry materials.To be successful in this role you will have: * Highly developed oral and written communication skills and demonstrated initiative. * Demonstrated project management experience and strong research and report writing skills. * Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to convey new concepts and work effectively with a diverse range of people from a wide spectrum of the community. * Demonstrated initiative and sound analytical and problem-solving skills. * This is a new position that will afford the right candidate the ability to play an important role in the Tasmanian agricultural sector.
