Solution to irrigation issues for the South East

The TFGA welcomes the announcement yesterday by the Minister for Agriculture the honorable Guy Barnett and Tasmanian Irrigation that a solution to the irrigation issues that confronted South Eastern irrigators prior to Christmas is being achieved.

We look forward to working closely with Tasmanian Irrigation and the Minister’s office as we seek to finally resolve this issue over the coming months in preparation for the next irrigation season.

Both the Minister and Tasmanian Irrigation have taken this issue seriously and we commend them for their work to date.
