The Rockliff Liberal Government is continuing to work with DairyTas and the agricultural sector to improve the health of Tasmania’s waterways.
The Cows out of Creeks program delivered by DairyTas is providing further grants to assist landholders to protect and improve water quality by removing cattle from waterways.
Primary Industries and Water Minister Jo Palmer said the Rockliff Liberal Government was providing an additional $100,000 as part of the 2020-21 Accelerating Agriculture commitment.

“This additional funding means 25 grants valued up to $5000 will be available to approved projects,” Minister Palmer said.
“Our Government recognises the importance of Tasmania’s waterways and that is why we are investing in the dairy industry to further protect the environment.”
