Varroa Mite

What is it: Insect

Where is it: Worldwide – except Australia

What does it affect: Bees

What does it do: Feeds on nymphs (juvenile bees) and adult bees, eventually destroying hives

What to look for: Weak, deformed bees, mites present on nymphs and/or adult bees
