Stock Underpass Program funds available for the new financial year

The Tasmanian Government's program to support improved farm and road safety and increased farm productivity across the livestock sector is ongoing. Funding is available for the new financial year for stock underpasses, up to $80,000 in subsidies. Stock Underpass Program | Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania (nre.tas.gov.au)

Moving cattle across roads is ​a significant issue for many dairy and livestock farmers. The Government has been working with the TFGA and DairyTas​, as well as local farmers and councils, to develop a practical approach to address the issue.
